Watching movies offline

i have added the Amazon prime app to my iPad. I downloaded some movies from there to watch offline when travelling but they are not in the files folder on my iPad. Can anyone tell me how to download movies and where from to watch offline. Thanks

Movies Anywhere offline download I downloaded movies using the download offline from Movies Anywhere which is connected to my Apple TV app. Instructions said to do this if I wanted to watch movies on a flight because I wouldn’t have access to the app. It shows it downloaded but it is not showing in my files download folder. I’m assuming it only downloaded to the app. How do I get it downloaded to my actual iPad to watch without an internet connection in airplane mode?

How can I find downloaded movies on my iPad? I have downloaded several movies to my iPad from subsrcibed streaming services - but nowhere do I see "downloadedmovies). We are traveling on a long flight soon. Is a 3rd party app required? Do I download to my Macbook then sync to iPad?? Thanks [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Not sure about Amazon Prime but Netlix's app stores the videos in the Netflix app. I suspect Amazon Prime does the same thing.
