How to change the default timer sound?

The timer should default to whatever you selected last. But, if you want to change it, open the timer, tap on "When Timer Ends" and select the tone you want.
How did you fix this? And does it also work with Siri?
No clue, I didn’t do anything. Works with Siri too.
C’mon, Apple…We’re still waiting for you to fix this annoying bug !!!

There is a new iOS update to 17.1
Actually, the latest version of iOS is 17.1.1. You may want to try updating to that.
Issue is still there in 17.1.1
This has been like this since updated to the new iPhone and the updates
And the radial sound is annoying and harsh if u forget to turn down your phone or change the ringtone
Me, too…C’mon, Apple, FIX THIS BUG !!!
I reported this to Apple also. It’s a bug still present in 17.1.1. Even if Radar is selected, Radial plays. Maybe a programmer mixed up the two words.
Apple come on already! I used the timer at night to stop playing music but it keeps switching to radial and thus waking me up in the morning. It never holds to the last setting. Please help!
Same thing with me. Very aggravating.
Please remove me from this thread or tell me how I can remove myself. Thanks!
Agree. In iOS 17 it appears to default back to "radial" and it keeps going back to that. I need to be able to set it to "Stop Playing" and stay there.
There's no Clock app there so it is unclear where to provide product feedback. Can you direct more specifically, which would be helpful?
It should default to the last setting, but it doesn’t. I have to remember to manually set it to “Stop Playing” when timer ends. It used to work fine. That radial sound will raise the dead!😵
