You should definitely not do that!
- The models differ by country.
- The U.S. model does not support a SIM card.
- The iPhone cannot be repaired by an Apple representative outside its country of origin.
- Your warranty will be invalid.
- There may be some cellular frequency differences.
Purchase the iPhone in the country where it will be used.
