Rearranging app impossible

With ios 17 rearranging apps has now become nearly impossible to do without having a phd for it. I remember ios 2 and it was so easy, like magic. I know this easy of use died with Steve Jobs and apple products have become worse and worse over time it’s almost a joke. When i want to rearrange the apps all they want to do is create a folder, its laughable complicated now. So how to do it, what is the golden hidden magical way of simply rearranging some apps in ios 17?
