I am unable to use Shazam. The app was working yesterday and stopped today, cause unknown? All other apps work fine. The app was deleted and reinstalled with no change.

I just did a chat with Apple Support.
Solution: Go to Settings, Accessibility, Display & Text Size & turn off bold text.
Apparently from a recent update this is the walk around for the issue. It worked for me & my partners phone.
How frustrating but fixable. Good luck :)
Same, seems until the next upgrade, we’ll have to keep the bold feature off or keeping adjusting the setting when using Shazam - super annoying
But in the meantime, glad this fix is working for everyone!!

shazam still not working. when the app is tapped it flashes on ever so briefly then off. i’ve rebooted my phone numerous times, deleted and reinstalled the app and did the latest update….. nothing works

Yep, evidently can’t have bold texts enabled! Just tried remedy above and now opens perfectly! Thx!!

And, yeah, I deleted the app & lost all my shazams but it is working now & you can find your old shazams in Apple Music.
Thanks for posting fix. I was going out of my mind trying to fix Shazam app. Turning off Bold???? Who knew - crazy. I wish Apple which owns the app would have posted something about this so it came up on a search.
That work around worked for me too. But I just hope that problem gets fixed so I am able to again use the large font display, because I need it.
But this was very helpful in order to convert my Shazam’s into my new Apple Music subscription.

This worked for me. However now I have difficulty seeing text because bold text helps with my inability to see up close or far away. But I use Shazam so frequently that I tried it and it worked. Thank you so much!!!
