I am unable to use Shazam. The app was working yesterday and stopped today, cause unknown? All other apps work fine. The app was deleted and reinstalled with no change.

I just did a chat with Apple Support.
Solution: Go to Settings, Accessibility, Display & Text Size & turn off bold text.
Apparently from a recent update this is the walk around for the issue. It worked for me & my partners phone.

Same here. It still works when I tap it in my drop down bar. Picks up the song and everything but the app itself will not work! I can’t pull it up to add any of the songs to my Apple Music anymore… what’s going on?!??!!

incidentally, when reporting the problem, there is no IOS 16.7 listed in the dropdown menu, so I had to add it in my comments
It’s now April 2024 and Shazam still doesn’t work. Got iPhone 15 in December. Switched from android. Most expensive mistake I’ve made in a long time. It’s so glitchy in so many ways that android never gave me issues.
shazam has worked twice since I got this phone. I’ve restarted and updated and bold text not on. Just simply is a piece of **** and does not work. Again, never had these issues (among several others) with the supposedly inferior android. Wtf apple.

Same as above Shazam won’t work. I re- booted my phone. Deleted the app and reinstalled. It flashes briefly but doesn’t listen to the music.
Noshazam again. I forgot to mention that when I reinstalled Shazam app it didn’t require the usual double right click.

Works great on my iPhone but not wife’s. Restart 3 times, deleted and reload 5, and I shared my Shazam app and still doesn’t work on her iPhone. WTH?!!
mine is still not working on my iphone 13 pro max. it does work on my ipad
