My purchased app is not opening when I try to play it

I bought Geometry dash a few days ago and I click on the app to play it but then it starts to boot up for a second then kicks me off. I tried restarting my phone and redownloading it but it doesnt seem to work. I have an Iphone 12. Can someone help that has a similar issue or an apple administrator?
