Problems playing Music with Airplay

After installing Sonoma I am having problems playing my music with AirPlay. Even though I have the Sound Control turned on, a song sometimes suddenly plays loudly. The next time a new song has to start, the song continues, but the sound has disappeared. Now, as I key this in, Music freezes and closes itself. This is more common after installation.

I can play songs, albums to Airplay from the same MacOS device. I can create and play a station on the Macbook speakers itself. Only the cast to Airplay is giving the issue. How do I troubleshoot and fix AirPlay disconnections from iPad 8th generation to Bose speakers? I stream music via airplay from my iPad (8) to several Bose speakers throughout my house. This system worked great for several years and then over time the speakers started to disconnect after a few minutes of playing and in several instances some of the speakers would not even link up with airplay. Now I can usually play from only one. I have updated the software for router/iPad/Speakers, turned on/off each devices, reset each speaker to factory settings and reinstalled. I am now pretty certain that the problem is actually in airplay vs the speakers but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot and fix the problem any suggestions would be appreciated [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Hello gerrit246,

It may help to try using AirPlay with a different speaker/accessory, to see if it may be specific to a particular one.

Restarting the Mac may also help refresh the connections: Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support

Starting up in safe mode may also assist with ruling out some third-party software that may be conflicting: Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support
