iPhone 14 Pro Max Overheating after iOS 17.0.2 Update

My iphone 14 pro max is literally heating up after the latest ios update. This is just frustrating a solution needs to be out and solved. Also the phones stops charging after 80% and heats up so fast that could be felt in hands. This is my first iPhone which I purchased and thought the battery life would be great compared to my Samsung now i am regretting buying it. I would also suggest my friends not to purchase iPhone due to this upcoming issue which can even cost them if phone overheats or the battery life is short.

Hopefully apple fixes these issues asap.

I got my iPhone 14 a yr ago and ever since I got it it over heats when ever a app needs to be updated it gets so hot to the point I have to put it in my freezer to cool down this needs to be fixed now apple why have people pay so much for a phone and it not work properly something needs to be done before one of these phones get so hot it blows up in someone’s face

i am also not having a good user experience with i phone 14 pro max.. i am an uber driver and while using my phone sometimes it became so hot all my app stops working thats ***** man world most expensive and higly rated company phones is the smae performance waise as other

Today the battery health on my device dropped from 95% to 93% suddenly 2% in a few hours of usage , which is not normal at all, I don't want to think that apple is purposefully reducing the battery capacity of the devices, the device is charged exclusively with a wired 5 Watt charger mostly while sleeping overnight. losing 3% battery in 3 weeks is not normal at all and especially 2% during today's day.

How do you explain this situation and do you have a solution?

Using iOS 17.4.1 on iPhone 14 Pro.

Contacted customer support but they’ve got no solution.

Visited Apple Service Centre they too haven’t been able to get it fixed.

Had faced this issue in the initial days and now again the same issue has popped up and the phone heats up to an extent that it feels like it might just explode or something…looking forward for you guys to resolve the same at the earliest opportunity.

i feel sad buying this phone that it’s with a glitch that am automatically thrown out when running apps, like browsing safari am out to home just like that, browsing Instagram suddenly Rk home page…

even when with gaming apps …

and my battery life is down to 88 like how on earth it’s been few months and on top of that with it’s burning sometimes (not when kept charging ) even other wise it’s such disappointment….

I used Xr for almost 5 years, such a beautiful phone but this **** pathetic

I have an IPhone 13 Pro and it’s overheating and discharging the battery quickly after IOS 17.3 update. Super annoyed and bummed.

My phone is also heating up after iOS 17.

Mine too. Just started recently.

I just had my new iPhone 14 Pro delivered today, upgraded to iOS 17.1.1 about 4 hours ago and noticing the phone is pretty hot with light/no use.

My fingers are warming up just replying here…

I have the similar issue on my 14 pro after updating it to 17.1.1. I thought instagram was the issue but seems like it is still happening. It lost 10 percent in like 10 minutes.

Same issue here on 17.1.1 (14 ProMax)

Apple needs to fix it, never had so many heating issues as now

Kinda disapointed, even my iPhone 13 seems to be afected 🫠
