Can I move/copy an app from an iPad to an iPhone 8?

I purchased about $400 worth of hearing enhancement hardware (Noopl). I downloaded the associated app onto my iPad and tested it, but I never had need of using it in public (on my iPhone). Now that I DO have a need (this coming weekend), I have discovered that the company went out of business and the app is no longer available in the App Store, nor anywhere I can find.

There’s a 10-year old post on this forum that says I can do it by synching through iTunes, but the post is woefully outdated.

Any advice?

You can go on your iPhone in the App Store to your account page in the top right and press purchases. There, you see all of the purchases you've made using this Apple ID. If the Apple ID on your iPhone is the same as on your iPad, you can download the latest avaliable version of this app from here.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I’m sure that my AppleID is the same. In iTunes Store, I don’t see any apps listed under purchases. Music, movies, and TV shows are the 3 tabs.

With a long press on the app, I can press Share and select Airdrop. On my phone, the airdrop comes up, but then I get an error that the app isn’t available in my country or region.

In the App Store, on my iPhone, on the account page, the app is not listed on my purchases. Nor is it listed in the App Store on my iPad, even though the app is here.

Perhaps it was downloaded directly from the company’s website?
