Iphone 12 mini camera not focusing after iOS 17 update

same here, has not been focusing for a week, I've got in touch with support but apple doesn't recognize the problem, crazy

Facing same issue on 12 pro max. 1x not working, feels like unable to focus. Rest all fine.

Having the same issue. I keep hearing cracking sound as it’s trying to focus but all pictures it takes are blurry.

Same problem has happened to my 12 mini too. And it is still not being resolved. I am still waiting if anything could get resolved with some update. Because it is not a hardware issue at all

and there is a crackling sound coming from the camera!

Mam any solution this problem please tell me my mobile also autofocus problem in 1x

Updated to iOS 17.5.1 and nothing changed.

My camera is not focusing, please Apple do something about this, I work with my camera :((((

17.5.1 doesn't fix this problem at all.

Has anyone seen any progress in this? Software update and hard reset does not solve it (according to some guides out there)

My 12 mini's front camera stopped focusing after the 17.5.1 update. Reverse camera works fine! Still looking for a fix short of replacing the phone...

Although, my wife's 12 mini on 17.5.1 does not have this problem...

Same issue here just got my IPhone 12 min Red 128gb refurbished everything works perfectly except the 1x camera just won’t focus and only makes blurry pictures please apple fix this.

Anymore news yet? I’ve just found this thread today , I’ve got the 12 mini and mines been doing the exact same for months, it’s driving me mad.
