Iphone 12 mini camera not focusing after iOS 17 update

recently updated with iOS 17, problem happened, camera was perfectly fine before update. 1x photo, portrait all no focus. Anyone has this issue resolved yet?

Iphone 12 mini camera not focusing after iOS 18 update This is a long-time and well-documented issue. Some iPhone 12 mini cameras after the iOS 17 update stopped focusing. Since then most of the pictures are blurry. Today I very eagerly updated to iOS 18 and still the flaw remains. There is a slight change though. Before it could not focus at all. Now it is only focusing for pictures taken less than a meter of distance… beyond that is pointless. Below are some examples…

Is there a fix for the iPhone 12 mini camera focus issue? My iphone 12 mini's main camera constantly struggles to focus and makes the camera unusable. I believe this happened after an ios 17.5.1 update. I see that thousands online have the same problem as me, suddenly, and yet Apple still hasn't fixed it. The latest iOS doesn't seem to fix it. Same issue, initially the thought its just me. But looks like update up our phones.

I also have the same issue. My girl and I FaceTime a lot, like everyday. The rear camera was working well last night, and when I tried using the camera today, the 1x feature gives me blurry pictures. The 0.5x and 2.5x works fine
