New lock screen clock and calendar

I have an iPhone 13 (IOS version 17.0.2) and with the new IOS there is the lock screen clock and calendar. It defaults to CUP, and I am assuring that is Cupertino, California. SO I change it to reflect St Louis (Chicago, CDT). Then it seem ever other day or so it revers back to CUP. At this point it has become annoying. Can I delete the clock and calendar (widget)or tell me how to correct. Became at this point I'm tired of correcting it only to have it default back to CUP. One would think it would sync with the clock app. I guess not.

Thanks for the post. We understand you're finding the location changes for your Clock widget, and you've already reset to your preferred location and found it changed back again. Is that right?

If you haven't yet, try backing up and updating to iOS 17.0.3 and then test to see if that might've resolved the issue: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

I was wondering the same thing. I thought it was when I turned my phone to the side but I was wrong

I think it only pops up when your phone is charging and on its side. My wife did something to correct the issue but with the latest iOS the problem hasn't resurfaced.

I want to know how to keep it at other times I love it but I don’t know if there is a way to change it…….
