On your phone, Go to settings

Go to Calendar

Go to accounts, then choose the email that the calendar invites are coming in on. Then mark off email and Calendars. This will turn off the automatic attachment to your emails. I also deleted all the emails and blocked them. But just blocking won’t stop any future spam email attacks on calendar, therefore best to change your calendar settings.

I followed Dfsantiago’s suggestion:

Long press the event, hit cut and then there will be an option to delete the event. Block the sender.

but, I blocked the contacts from my email account first. Then I followed the long hold on one of the calendar events. Cut it and deleted it allowing the notification to the sender. I figured I don’t care as I have blocked them…..for now.

This only helps if you're willing to sacrifice using the account altogether. I've done every other step Apple, Reddit users, and Microsoft has suggested and I still continue to get these spam invites. Its maddening. I narrowed down that they are in my junk email folder in outlook, when I delete that they're gone...until they send me a new email the very next day! I've blocked and deleted from both my iPhone & my laptop. I've looked for tracking settings in Outlook and there aren't any. I use this account for specific things so I cant just get rid of it.
