Yes, I did change ID on a phone. I did not know it changed all ID. I figured it out. I was able to get access after I changed back my ID and restart my computer to get access again.

When I got MacBook Pro 14, it ddid not give me the option to save my files/data on the local HD. It only gave me the option to save on iCloud. If I do not have internet access, then I am not sure if I can access my data. I would like to setup a folder to keep all my data on my computer HD and sync to iCloud every week to ensure I control what I want to keep in iCloud. Do I go to Macintosh HD-Users-myname-MacHD Document(Create the new folder). If I do that, how come it does not show up on the left side of Finder? Do I instead create a new folder in Desktop? Can you let me know how to setup the folder to save on HD?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi Pj92067,

It's not possible to save files only to iCloud.

If you use iCloud Drive to safe your files, they save locally and are then synced when internet connection is available.

If you're worried about missing some files, turn off any type of Optimize Storage options for iCloud.
