Nothing showing in iCloud

I started to uplaod all docs to icloud on mac , then changed my mind as realised it was either all or nothing and did not want all on icloud. Then lost ALL documents! . Apple support were really helpful and found them all in icloud archive , so recovered all ,! Phew!

Now the few shared folders that I did have on i Cloud are back on mac, but how do i get jkust those back on to icloud , so that My husband can see them ! They are shared files for holiday info etc, that we need whilst away
