Mail Privacy Protection Pop Up

The is the problem I'm having while trying to login on my Windows 11 PC using the iCloud for Windows App. There is no problem getting the my emails; however, in a split second after seeing my emails, this pop up appears.

After it appears I can't close this pop up to read my emails. I did a full virus scan (negative). I tried opening my wife's iCloud emails and the same problem occurs. The pop up just stays there and I can't do anything to get rid of it. This only happens on my desktop. No problem with my iPad or iPhone.

Has anyone had this problem and solved it? Much thanks in advance for anyone's help ion resolving this problem.

Finally! I went into my Iphone and was going to set up forwarding to another email account just for grins I signed into my icloud account on Chrome on my phone, the pop up came up and I was able to click an option and it then gave me a bright blue continue button. Went into my Windows app and wa-la! it worked! hope this helps it has been very annoying!!!!!

Open the Google Chrome browser on your phone and sign into iCloud Mail it will show the pop up screen but you should be able to make a choice and click continue. Then you should be able to access it on your PC

Again I went through this for months. Sign into your iCloud Mail on Chrome on your phone it should give you the same pop up and you “should “ be able to make a selection and it will clear the pop up on your computer

You must choose one of the two presented options to dismiss that pop-up. Have you tried making a selection? You can read more about Mail Privacy Protection here:

Jeff - I have the same issue with this popup. In my case I did make a choice and hit return, but the popup goes nowhere and I can’t get to my emails. I’ve closed and reopened iCloud and the same thing happens, even if I try to open a different email each time.
