Macbook always restart nonstop once i plug in charger

I have a macbook air 2017, been using the laptop for 5 years without any issue and suddenly the laptop is starting to do looping restart once i plugged in the charger.

When i unplugged the charger, the laptop back to normal.

Everything else seems fine, just I can't work with charger on and that's not effective..

Anyone know how to fix this?

Checking the hardware and all look normal. For software, no new app installed.

Thank you.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.6

Try and boot in the safe mode to see if the issue persists

  1. Turn on or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key until you see the login window.
  2. Log in to your Mac.
  3. You might be asked to log in again.
  4. On either the first or second login window, you should see “Safe Boot” in the menu bar.

If it does not persist in the safe mode, it is caused by an external piece of software.

If it persist in the safe mode, it is most likely hardware related
