iPhone 13- Green Line Issue On Display

most of the iPhone 13 had a manufacturing defect to the display, usually most iPhone 13 display will get this green line in 1.5 to 2 years, because warranty expires by time nothing else to do rather than expensive full screen replacement.

I got the exact same issue on my iPhone 13 (24 months since Purchase). And I have tried resetting, force starting and a bunch of other online “tips”.

But looks like this is a known issue OLED screen problem with Apple and depending on your luck will happen in/out of warranty.

Replacing the OLED screen is the only solution which we all know costs as much as a brand new Andriod Phone.

So.

sounds like there is no confirmation on whether this is a hardware or a software issue. I would recommend contacting apple support to see what they have to say.

its free to call them, only repairs are paid.

It is hardware failure one of your oled strip is malfunctioning either it’s damaged or there is overvoltage in any case it’s display failure .

It can some times go away on its own but it is a clear sign of display damage .

No use, diagnosis says we should change display, that is by bearing the cost.

Hi,

Take hair drier and give a good heat on left upper side on front and back side, but do not give head for long time give for shorter duration of time multiple times otherwise pixels of the device will get burned.

Note- At the time of heating you device must be turned off.

I bought iPhone 13 mini in 2022, after ios 17.6.1 update, green horizontal line issue occurred.

Apple service centre executive refused to accept software issue. They asked me to replace screen worth 22700.

apple doesn’t accept software issues.

if apple continues this behaviour then we are starting boycott apple in India.

I bought an iPhone 13 15 months ago which is now out of warranty but now after the update, the iPhone is showing a green line on the screen.

I tried by resetting the phone but the problem persists.

Bought 1phone 13 2022 not even 2 years out of warranty showing greenline left side this is not my fault its apple problem after 17 os update i think its happend if i go service center they will charge hig i never gonna buy any apple products.

same thing happened to me right side of screen iPhone 13 bought 2 years ago; did you go to service center? did they charge you for it? I don't want to go to a service center and be said to pay for apples fault and pay again on next software update, should I throw this away and buy an Android?

Same issue for me as well bro , i bought it almost 2 years back and i have the same issue but on the right side of the screen. I called apple customer care and they say its an electronic device , things like this can happen and they suggested me to take their insurance . Just wondering how cheap apple has become and how they value their customers . This issue seems to be common for a very good number of people and its their issue .Instead of repairing it for free of cost , they suggest me to take the apple care +. So disappointed about how apple take care of their customers, iam never gonna recommend anyone to use and iphone / Apple product from now . We dont know the same things might happen to anyone right .

I am also facing the same issue after update but no resolution till now.

Will never recommend anyone to purchase iPhone due to its cheap quality. Once the warranty is lapse they will push the some bugs to create the problem and user should pay high amount to fix or buy new product.
