This issue only happens on my iPad. My iPhone displays all texts appropriately.

Ensure that you have enabled iCloud Messages on both your iPad and iPhone:
Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > [Apps Using iCloud] Show All > Messages - set to ON

Since update on iPad, my texts are only displaying todays texts and no previous. Example, yesterdays received texts are gone. Thankfully the texts are in my iPhone. Any ideas?
