Excel opens in Word I recently purchased MS Office Home and when I click to open Excel, it opens in Word. If I do not right-click on the icon and tell it to open in Excel it will open in Word by default. If I get an Excel file email attachment it will open in Word when I click. I have tried to correct this on my own and have had no success at all. I am reaching out to this Apple Community for help. Could there be an Apple related solution? Thanks. David D

MS Word not working properly on iPad I have been running MS 365, including MS Word, on my iPad on my current iPad (iPad Air 11-inch; iPadOS version 18.6.2) for about a year. Recently, it has been acting up, not deleting files when I've asked it to, telling me it can't upload my changes because someone else is editing the document (not the case), and otherwise making work difficult. I was having trouble with Excel awhile ago and was informed that reinstalling Excel might solve the problem. I did, and it did solve the problem. Now, I can't remember how I did that. Anyone know how to uninstall MS word and reinstall it on an iPad? Thanks! [Edited by Moderator]

no msword in drop down menu for "open with" I want Word as my default (Sonoma). When I follow the directions and click on "open with", the app is not there. It is installed and working. I have to copy from Pages and paste into Word. Obviously, this won't do.
