Potential Trojan on Iphone

For a couple of times now I get an email with Alert on Trojan DETECTED and an all day, recurring Calendar event for “Suspicious Virus Detected”. Anyone seeing something similar? Is this a Virus?

There isn’t anything at the bottom of the event, to unsubscribe. So this doesn’t work.

I am on iOS 17 and have this same issue. To every person that posts to "unsubscribe" I cannot stress strongly enough that there is no unsubscribe choice in the event. Just Accept, Maybe, Decline. Declining removes it and all of its events from the calendar, but for a very short time.

Also, the only thing showing up in Calendar > Accounts, is my outlook and cloud accounts that belong there.

Hey! You can also try these steps:

First Way:

  1. Open the Calendar app.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, tap Calendars.
  3. Look for a calendar that you don't recognize. Tap the More Info button  next to that calendar, then scroll down and tap Delete Calendar.

Second Way:

If this doesn't fix the issue, delete the calendar subscription in Settings:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Calendar > Accounts. Or if you use iOS 13, tap Passwords & Accounts > Accounts instead.
  3. Tap Subscribed Calendars.
  4. Look for a calendar that you don't recognize. Tap it, then tap Delete Account.

Best of Luck,

Bryce

I have the same issue. I see an all day event with the title ‘ALERT! Trojan DETECTED’ on my calendar in my iPhone 13 with IOS 16.1.1. When I decline it it goes away momentarily but returns. I have no SPAM Calendars. If I remove my main calendar it goes away so it’s an invite in that calendar. On my MAC notebook both in the Mac and Microsoft Outlook calendars it is not appearing. It seems then to be only in my IPhone.

Anyone have any additional advice on how to remove it?

Exactly the same issue and on same IOS. The only way to turn it off has been to deselect “Calendar” under untitled account (not under iCloud). I believe thus simply hides the notification and does not delete it. How do we delete it? There is no delete or unsubscribe option in the event itself and there are no suspicious calendars in my Calendars list
