My AirPods cuts out with MacBook only, though iPhone connection is always good

My AirPod sound cuts in and out with MacBook only.

With apple music and google meet though chrome browser, the sound is continously cuts in and out.

When it connected with iPhone, it hears really well.

This problem is still remained after update the OS to Sonoma.

AirPods Pro default to half volume on MacBook Air Hi there! I recently got gifted an airpods pro by my parents. At first it worked and connected just fine. However, now whenever I connect my airpods to my macbook air, it connects automatically but defaults to half volume. This keeps happening even after I forget device and repaired it again through bluetooth. It just happens when I connect to my macbook air but for my iphone it connects just fine to the last volume setting. Please help as I always just have this fear when connecting my macbook air and it's very bothersome and hurts my ears when music plays and in half the volume (I usually set it to 20-30%)

AirPods 4 sound extremely quiet on Zoom and Teams Every time I connect my AirPods 4 to my computer it sounds fine. I’m able to listen to music just fine on YouTube. When I open teams or zoom the entire sound system of my computer goes extremely quiet on my airpod 4s even though the sound system is at 100%. I can barely hear anybody talking and even the music on YouTube sounds extremely low as well. I’ve tried changing every sound setting in the volume setting in both the system setting and zoom settings but I am unable to fix it.

Hi eunchul147,

We'd love to help see if we can resolve the issue. If it is only happening in third-party apps, it could be an issue with those apps. We'd recommend checking to see if there are any app updates that need to be installed if that is the case. We'll also include some further things to try below for you.

Unpair the AirPods with the MacBook.
Forget the bluetooth connection
Then Set up AirPods with your Mac and other Bluetooth devices - Apple Support
Restart your MacBook.
