iPhone Lockscreen Battery widget

On my iPhone 14 lock screen, the Battery widget, showing my hearing aid battery status, overrides my Apple Watch battery status, which is what I want to see. Only when I turn off my hearing aids will the Apple Watch battery status show instead. How can I have the Battery widget override my hearing aid battery status, and continually display my Apple Watch battery status on the Battery widget, on my lockscreen?

You can configure the lock screen battery widget to only show the battery level of your Apple Watch. Here are the steps:

  1. Ensure your Apple Watch is connected to your iPhone.
  2. Begin editing your lock screen by pressing and holding on it, tapping "Customize", then "Lock Screen" .
  3. Tap the battery widget you've already added, then turn off "Automatic".
  4. Tap the "Devices" field, then select your Apple Watch.
