How to get refund of partially approved split payment

Hello,

I has tried to purchase an item on Apple Store on Oct 4, 2023. I split my payment for 2 cards. One got through and other one failed. Hence my order has not being processed, any retrial prompts me to pay in full again (no option to pay the remaining sum). Without order number there is no option to track order status (cancel order or claim refund)...

How can I claim refund for approved transaction asap ? Please specify support center mail details to address the request to (with all evidence(s) to be attached).

you should contact support center (via tel / skype) and ask to put you through to settlement specialist who can reverse the payment to your card(s) based on tx id, PAN and other tx details. Reversal could take up to 24+ hours as i was told but in my case i got my money back in a few minutes.

I split my payment for 2 cards.

You can have a credit card / debit card on file and an Apple Account balance.

Your default payment method will be used first by Apple when you need to make a payment.

If you have set your Apple Account balance as your default payment method and you have a CC / debit card, you pay from your default payment method.

If you have 2 CC, and you have set one CC as your default payment method that will be charge by Apple.

Get support from Apple directly -> Get Support or call Apple in your region see -> Contact Apple for support and service

Raicya,

thank you for information -> split payment mechanism is quite obvious.

However, and unfortunalety, Split payment feature does not work correctly at Apple store check out process. Transaction should be approved only if both holds are successful (the first card is valid and sum enough blocked and the second card is valid and balance is sufficient). if any card is declined the whole payment to be rejected -> and no partial payment to be approved.

As there is no option to create order with "partially paid status" and pay later to cover it in full.

"Get support from Apple directly -> Get Support" - this link is useless at all, as current case can not be hanlded without order number !

Awful customer experince with Split payments and more over with NO DIRECT ACCESS TO APPLE SUPPORT via mail to apply for help request / refund.
