Wallet does not work on Ultra 2 Watch.

I have mirrored my phone and tried reseting phone and watch, deleted all cards and reinstalled them but when I go to pay using watch when it says Hold near Reader the reader says insert or swipe card action not available although i feel the tap/vibrate on my wrist from watch. I have been to the Apple Store in Sydney as I had to buy something and it would not work so a number of Apple Staff working there tried to get it to work, showing me and taking me through how to use and set it up. They all said it should be working now but it still did the same on their readers and they had neo idea other than the RF chip could be defective. I am now trying to book the Genius Bar but there is nowhere to book a time.
