Update to OS Somoma. Problem with Photos

When I updated to Sonoma and went to open a Photos Library on a NAS drive, the system did a repair run and now it will not load

How to check WHICH photo gets Photos stuck? Photos gets stuck in the "Gathering Favorites/Analyzing Scenes/Detecting Duplicates". In my case, it's been stuck since 2018 at least, probably much longer. I tried changing disks, exporting all files to a new library, a new mac, nothing works. So I know that there is at least one file where photos gets stuck. Other solutions here (from years ago) point to the same thing. But this library has half a million pictures, and I won't search one by one. I tried, and failed. What I want it to know where in the logs can I find information about this and how on sonoma to properly filter and activate this log.

Switching system photo library is not responding I have this problem whenever I try to switch the system photo library, the photos app is not responding. In the past, I moved my photo library to an external drive. However, the photos app could not sync to icloud. After that, multiple errors message appeared. Then I tried to repair the library, but still could open the previous library. I then created a new library and am trying to create this library as the system photo library. I'm running it on a MBP M1, Ventura 13.1

Photos keeps going into Restore.. mode Using Monterey 12.4 but seem to have problems for some time. Photos with use, gets into some undefined state where by every time I try to open photos it immediately goes into restore mode. The only way to fix it is to restart my iMac and then start photos. I hate having to restart my mac every time I want to use photos. It appears to get into some state where after closing an open session of photos, everytime I restart photos it brings up the Restore.. screen. I have run rebuild on the database. it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Having issues with Photos as well since updating to Somoma. Can no longer drag and drop Pics to Photo. Can no longer drop screen shots to photos. Just get an unsupported format warning. Anyone else having issues.
