Watch OS 10 - how do i get rid of this active app indicator icon at the top of the screen

Ever since I updated to Watch OS 10, I get these annoying icons that indicate an app is active. I don’t want them. Even if I close the app on the watch, sometimes the icon doesn’t go away. It could be the stopwatch, timer, or any app. It ruins the look of my watch faces. I hate it with a passion. I have all notifications and notification indicators disabled. Please tell me there’s a way to disable this eye sore. See the attached pic to see what I’m referring to. I’m currently running watch is 10.0.1.

At this time I don't think you can disable the indicators. Let Apple's product teams know your opinion, Feedback - Watch - Apple
