I created a slideshow in Photos on my iMac and need to move it to a MacBook in order to play the slideshow at an event. I can only find a way of exporting the slideshow as a video file. Is there any way to transfer the slideshow to another Mac without exporting as a video file?

The library contains all that. Make a duplicate of the library and delete all the images (from the library, not from albums!) that aren't in the slideshow. Go into Photos trash and permanently delete them. Put this new smaller library on the other computer. On the new computer, launch Photos with the option key held down and select the pared-down library. Your slideshow will be there in all its glory.
Only by moving the library that contains it.
Or a pared down library that contains only the photos in the slideshow.
Problem is I set the photos up to play in a particular order so even if I moved the photos to the new computer I'd have to redo all that work. I thought there would be a similar workflow as moving a play list from Music to another computer by exporting an XML file.
How do I move a Photos slideshow from one Mac to another without exporting as a video file?
