Paste Edits of partial Auto Enhancement adjustments pastes whole Auto Enhancement

Hi all,

Ever since the introduction of Copy and Paste Edits in the Photos app, every time I Auto Enhance a picture, to then customise the enhancement, and then copy these bespoke adjustments to another picture, a default whole Auto Enhancement is pasted, instead of only the active adjustments of the original.

I like Auto Enhancement, but it very often applies excessive Colour Vibrancy/Saturation (especially on plants' green tonalities), so I usually disable this on the colour section blue tick mark, or the back arrow to turn off colour auto-correction. Once this is done, the Magic Wand button at the top right corner of the app changes from yellow to dimmed, showing it's not a default full auto-enhance edit anymore.

It doesn't matter which of these two ways I use to disable the colour auto-enhancement, after copying the adjustments of the photo, a default full-autohance is pasted which also makes the magic wand yellow.

Any ideas on how to paste what I actually edit, not what the Photos app wants to?

Thanks,

Javier

I don't use Auto Enhancement, but I tried it in Ventura, and you're absolutely right! I notice that the Auto icon becomes lit, even when it's not in the original. Photos must be using Auto as the last step rather than the first step in the edit sequence.
