The bad guys are always trying to come up with different ways to get at the data on your phone.


Apple is always trying to react as quickly as possible to security threats.


About the security content of iOS 17.0.3 and iPadOS 17.0.3 - Apple Support


If you want to have the most up to date security for your iPhone, the update is needed.
