My new iphone 15, and ipad (10th generation) both iOS Version 17.0.2, will not recognize my HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 I used with my old iphone and ipad.

MacBook Pro 13″, 10.11

I solved my problem through the HP Smart app.

Are you saying the printer is showing a screen that asks for a password? Or something else?

My printer is asking for a password after I connected with my new iphone 15, but I never had a password before.
