iPhone 15 Pro Max shipping now stuck at customs with no further update

So my new iPhone is somehow getting directly shipped from the Foxconn manufacturing plant in China and it is now getting stuck at the customs. The status has been updated to "Your package has been released by the government agency" but overall status still stuck at "On the Way: Clearance in Progress" and there's no estimated delivery date anymore, originally this Friday evening. I wonder if I should contact UPS now or something? This is really frustrating.
