Ipad started intermittent loss of wifi

My iPad Pro has suddenly started losing wifi connection.

My other devices - iMAC, iPhones etc do not have an issue.

I have tried with different routers

I have moved to iPadOS 17.0.2 but the issue started with an earlier version.

I have powered off and on.

I have reset network settings.

It is a problem when using any app.

Thanks for reaching out richardfrombelgium,

It sounds like you're having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi with your iPad. We can help.

From what you've described, this could be a hardware issue. You can check out these steps to learn more about iPad Repair & Service, or you can connect with Apple directly using either Get Support or if you're in a region without direct support options, you can also Contact Apple for support and service.

Hope that helps.

Take care.

I have same issue and searches show that quite a few people do also. Auto-Join is enabled. The iPad 9th generation shows connected to wi-fi (icon in upper right shows connected to wi-fi) however when going to settings—>Wi-Fi no available networks show and acts like not connected. Toggle wi-fi off and on then available networks show, it auto joins to my network and everything is good. If only asleep for a short time, does not happen. When asleep for extended time (more than 1 hour) then problem happens. No other devices have this issue (iPhone 12P, iPhone 11, iPod touch, MacBook and bunch of non apple products).
