Hide My Email

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. You have the option to stop or delete an inactive address with Hide My Email. Here's how:

Stop using an address created with Hide My Email

1. On iCloud.com, click  in the toolbar, then click Hide My Email.

2. Select the email address you want to stop using.

3. Click “Deactivate email address,” then follow the onscreen instructions.

When you stop using a unique, random address, any emails sent to that address are returned to the sender.

Delete an inactive address

You can only delete inactive addresses.

Important: Deleting an address created with Hide My Email is permanent, and it’s deleted on all your devices set up for Hide My Email. You cannot reactivate the address.

1. On iCloud.com, click  in the toolbar, then click Hide My Email.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the list, then select an address below “[number] inactive email address(es).”

3. Click “Delete address,” then follow the onscreen instructions.
