iPhone 15 is only recognizing Samsung TV as a speaker during Airplay connection. How can I fix this issue?

TV is a Samsung 7 series and I have the new iPhone 15 pro. I am trying to connect with Airplay to watch a movie, but it only recognizes the TV as a speaker and will not show any video. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the phone to the TV, but a not sure what else to do. Any suggestions?
