Why is the find my iphone button gone from my apple watch after the new IOS was installed.

Have to go find my device app, look for my iphone icon, play sound (which takes over a minute to play the sound).

Please bring back the slide up from my apple watch and install the button back.

Are you sure you're pressing the correct button? Sounds like you're pressing the round (top) one, if you're getting a list of apps. It's the button below that, the oval one that is flush with the side of the watch.

You can edit it, too, bring the phone icon to the top of the screen (although mine was there right from the beginning).

i miss that swipe and play the sound button SO much! it was the feature that got me to get the **** watch in the first place!! truly, i saw someone do it and i was like, oh that’s gonna save me 10 minutes a day! and now it’s gone….
i miss the percentage of battery on that little swipe up screen as well…
oh, the good old days…

No, neither of those features is gone. Had you read any of this thread you're posting it, you'd see how to access those features in exactly the same number of steps as before.

You are correct. However when I press that button nearly every icon on my phone scrolls up. No simple button to push to find my phone. Once in awhile something will scroll up and then it says I’m not connected and it will play sound when connected. I never had that issue before. It always made my phone play a sound. Now it hardly ever plays a sound and I have to spend a lot of time hunting my phone.

Thank you - I’ve nearly driven myself mad trying to sort out the (mainly irrelevant, but you can’t remove them - how frustrating) ) apps on my watch to find that really useful ‘ping phone’ on the ‘missing’ control face.

You’ve shown me how to do it when ‘genius’ in Apple Store didn’t know what I was talking about 😹

note to Apple -1) PLEASE make it an easier option to have control centre on a screen swipe rather than button push for those of us in disabled community without the ‘pushing small button’ functionality!

2) please allow option to remove app icons we don’t use (ie I need to plan my ‘cycle’ nor want ‘mindfulness’) from the watch face
