iPhone 15 Pro does not ring when my husband calls from his number (the other number on our account)

I have already put in a ticket with Verizon (escalated to their Network Engineering team) but thought I would see if anyone has suggestions here, as well. My phone rings for everyone except my husband's phone number. I have checked all the blocked numbers, alert settings, etc. I deleted his contact completely to make sure it wasn't a ring tone that wasn't working, and then I recreated it from scratch, too. The phone is not muted (his work number rings immediately when trying to call along with all the other numbers that we've had try calling). I also deleted every number I've ever blocked from the blocked calls/texts just in case something was stuck in there. I receive text messages from him both on and off iMessage (SMS texts come through as do iMessage texts). The phone acts like he's blocked when he calls, though - does not ring and I don't get a missed call notification, but if he leaves a voicemail, it notifies me and then I can listen to that.

I went to the Verizon store and they issued a new ESIM just in case that was a problem, and they did not know what else to try, either.

The iPhone 13 Pro I had on 9/22 worked - I activated the new phone and transferred my data and the iPhone 15 Pro has never rung for his number again.

I honestly don't know that this is a hardware problem, but I figured I'd ask here in case someone somewhere has seen this and fixed it.

I wanted to come back and post here in case someone else has this issue.

After much troubleshooting and scratching of heads, the Verizon store folks decided to activate my number on the second eSIM port instead of the first. Now everything is working. I'm pretty sure they found that by accident, but there you go.
