colors on my macbook pro are washed out

I just purchased my macbook m2 pro 16 inch on 9/29/23 and the colors are all washed out. It has not had any water damage at. I've tried adjusting settings and nothing is helping. How do I resolve this problem?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.0

Check that Mac's Accessibility settings: Change display colors on Mac to make it easier to see what’s onscreen - Apple Support. If you already did that, then contact Apple to have that Mac evaluated: Official Apple Support.

I had a similar issue after installing iOS 14.4.1 on my MBP. Only difference was that the washed out colors were on my second display (2013 27" Cinema). Here's how I fixed it...

1) Opened System Settings/Displays on my Cinema display (the affected screen)

2) Turned OFF "Automatically adjust brightness"

3) Turned OFF "True Tone"

4) Turned "True Tone" back ON

Fixed.
