Display colours burned out

My macbook air randomly decided to start displaying colours bizzarely - they look very washed and burned out. No damage prompted this.

I've attached some photos to demonstrate the issue.

I was wondering if anybody had experienced something similar? Apple suggested I take it in for repair, but before I do so I wanted to take one more opportunity to see if I could fix it myself.

Calibrating Color on MacBook Air Hello! I was using my new MacBook the other day when suddenly the colors shifted and looked washed out. They remained that way despite calibrating the computer several different times as well as restarting it. I have tried calibrating it myself under the expert mode but it still has not completely gone back to normal. Images are tinted blue and green and other images are oversaturated and dark. Is there any way to reset it back to the default color scheme? Thank you!

Screen Colour My MacBook Pro screen colour is all wrong. IT started yesterday & for no reason. I notice that as I close the screen down, the colour corrects but as soon as I open it up, colour distorts? Is this something I can fix?

Hi,

I think you should do as Apple was told you since it seems it's a LCD panel or logic board problem.
