Does iPhone XR supports 5g?

Somebody tell me that does any chance of working 5g network in IPhone XR

In one of the YouTube video they show that XR works on 5G 🤔🤔

Don’t believe everything you see on the Internet.


That said, AT&T has labeled their “enhanced LTE” network as “5Ge”.

5Ge will be displayed on devices connected to that network. It is NOT 5G. It is 4G. It’s a marketing ploy they used to con people into thinking they were getting something special on AT&T that they didn’t get on other networks.

None of those iPhones support 5G. Only iPhone 12-series models and later iPhone models do.

I'm not sure why you mentioned the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in the context of iOS 16.2. Those iPhones can't run iOS 16 or later.

iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 are compatible with these devices - Apple Support
