New Iphone xs max not turning on

Hello , new iphone xs max never activated, will not turning on even when its plugged to power, but when I connect with pc the screen turned on an showing iTunes,and when iam trying to update it with pc the phone will turn off . Please let me know if you have solution

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 16

Try and charge it for a prolonged period of time, and after that force restart it to see if the issues are persisting

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button.
When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
