Google Drive asking me to Authenticate a file before I can save it there?

When i go to put a file from my email or somewhere else into google drive on my phone it asks me to authenticate it first? How do I do this? I turned the privacy setting off and it still asks me...

Can't save files to google dive Hi, I have an iPad Pro and I am having issues saving any files to google drive. I am able to view the files just fine, but when I go to save anything it says I need to authenticate before accessing this item. I don't have the privacy screen setting on in the google drive app so I'm not sure why it's doing this. I was able to save to google drive at one point but it one day stopped. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Suddenly need to authenticate to access files, but how? Suddenly many of my files can't be opened or even deleted as I get a message saying, "Can't open file. You need to authenticate before accessing this item". So how and where do I authenticate? Clicking "ok" doesn't take me anywhere at all.
