Bluetooth issues on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 17.0.3

I am having issues with bluetooth dropping the connection in my car and air pods pro since I upgraded my phone to iphone 15 PM and IOS 17.0.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. this is my main phone and I can't take the chance of having unstable IOS build on it. Any suggestions or better yet can apple just make something that works as it should for $1200 thanks!

I’m up to date on iOS 17.1.2 and still having Bluetooth issues. It’s nearly impossible to use Bluetooth in my car at this point.

Having iPhone 15 PM issues connecting meaningfully with my bluetooth wireless keyboards.

I say "meaningfully"....because I can pair/connect the keyboard, but I have to hold down a character key for 2 secs at least, to see the character appear in the text box. Not very conducive to fast typing.

Hoping for a fix.

I've already installed 17.0.3, and passed an apple support phone sharing troubleshooting session.

Currently on the phone with Applecare, the same issue Bluetooth stops working in and around Chadstone, also issues connecting Airpod Pros and pro max. the full issues is not present all the time, Chadstone Bluetooth crashes and becomes unavailable, outside and in other locations, only one side of AirPods connects. The screen is also very slow when typing and not very responsive, Applecare has just come back and said you just have to wait for a software fit, with no timeline......... $2,600 and Apple want us to be beta testers. iphone 15 Pro Max running on iOS 17.0.3

My issue is primarily with the bluetooth keyboard connection. It pairs, but I must hold down a character key for at least 2-secs to have it appear in the text box.

I've spent time in chat with both Apple and Logitech. No solutions apparent...even after a remote sharing attempt for possible problems with the OS or hardware.

All worked well with iPhone 13 Pro Max prior to my iPhone 15PM changeover.

I'm using IOS 17.0.3

I can also attest to the same. As a workaround, I did discover that turning off/on bluetooth (from the Bluetooth settings menu, not the control panel) does temporarily alleviate the issue and re-enable communications with your devices. It will happen again, however. I previously posted a message to this effect and Apple removed it due to mention of iOS beyond 17.0.3.

I've had so many issues in the past less than a month with this 15 Pro Max that it has really taken all my Faith out of Apple. I would assume they are not hiring based on the best qualifications and are just making hires to fill a quota. Honestly how else do you explain the worst iPhone put out to date on the buggiest iOS ever released?! It doesn't take a lot of thought to put 2 and 2 together. Not only do I have the Bluetooth issue which I stated earlier, but I also have the overnight issue where I grab my phone off the charger in the morning and I have a black screen and it is unresponsive. No fix for that yet. This honestly may be my last Apple product. Apple fix your garbage!

Same here.

Because I have not yet exchanged my iPhone 13 Pro Max for the 15 trade-in process, I've been checking functionality between the two. Both have iOS 17.0.3...but the 15 is just not connecting to my bluetooth keyboards.

Wouldln't that indicate a hardware, not a software problem?

I think the 15 is going back to the ATT store until they get it right.

I tried my Audi's factory connection. Connects sometimes, disconnects, one way conversation till it completely disconnects. Have Amazon echo auto as well, same results. AirPod Pros...same. It's a software issue but only seems to be on the 15 Pro Max. Called Apple support tonight and said no one is having this issue. 🤣 After I informed them there are hundreds of people complaining of the Bluetooth issues on Apple community help as well as Reddit she agreed that there is probably an issue. She did a remote diagnosis on my phone and everything came back as working. I said I know what it's saying, but I'm telling you as an owner of just about every single version of iPhone since the first, I have never experienced this before. She did have me reset the network settings but I know that won't work. I'll verify in the morning. Apple needs to at lease admit there is an issue and you are working on it.
