Can't print PDF files from Acrobat since update Sonoma Ever since I updated to Sonoma I cannot print PDF files in Adobe Acrobat. No connection with the printer can be established. Acrobat Distiller opens and freezes. Need to force quit Acrobat and Distiller. I have the most recent printer driver installed. I encounter no problems printing from InDesign or Illustrator. pdfs will only print as gobbledygook from MacBook Air I bought my MacBook Air (M1) in 2020 and have always had problems printing pdfs. I have regularly updated the OS (now using Venture 13.3.1) but the problem never goes away! What happens is I get unlimited printed pages of gobbledygook and have to pull out the paper tray to stop it and then reset the print queue to cancel the job. My printer is a Samsung C48x series, driver version 3.0. If I restart everything – printer and Mac – I can sometimes get it to print one page, but never more. The printer works fine for printing other file types from my MacBook Air, and I can print pdfs from my iPhone and iPad, so it should be a very specific problem! I have recently deleted Adobe Acrobat from my computer and taken to using only Preview for pdfs, but I still have the same problem. Any thoughts?

Printing _ "the document could not be printed" Hi everybody, I have problems when printing with Mac Sonoma 14.1.2. I couldn't print any pdf files, although it was ok with Sonoma version 14.0. the notice is alway "the document could not be printed" and "there were no pages selected to print" My pdf files are all unlock. How about your Mac? Does it have the same problem? What can I do to fix it? I work basically on pdf files, now I have to copy the content to word and print. That's really annoying. Please give me some hints if any of you have. Thanks a lot for your time and support.

A .pdf (Portable Document Format) is a universal use file. You don't need the original creating app to open it; it's not an Adobe file per se.
