Hello Aztimer 2,

It looks like you joined the Apple Support Communities from the following article: Create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support. We have a few steps that can help to isolate the cause of the problem.

Check to see if the problem happens in a browser other than Safari. If the problem does not happen in another browser, you can try the following steps. Try each step listed and then test Safari again.

    1. Clear the cache, cookies, and history from Safari on your device: Clear cookies in Safari on Mac - Apple Support.
    2. Check to see if the issue happens with a specific user. If you do not have an alternate user you may need to create one to test with. Here's more information on that process: Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support.
    3. Check to see if the issue happens while in safe mode. You can look over more information on this; here Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support.

We hope this information helps you out.

Kind regards!
