When updated from ios16 to ios17 i found out that on siri suggestions icons are not i line anymore.
Before there was 4 icons in 1 row; now there’s 3 icons on 1st row and a 2nd row with 1 icon.
This is not the end of the world, but it’s annoying expecially before before this was fine.

That certainly returns the Siri app suggestions to 4 rows, but it doesn't resolve the bug. The normal home screen shows 4 rows, even when zoom is activated. Yet the app suggestion screen only allows 3 rows with zoom activated. Like the OP stated, it was working fine until IOS 17.
I figured this one out for my husband... it was bugging him as well lol.
