ElementaryInfoSearch - is this malware? Unable to remove

I have spent the evening trying to remove this from my computer. I found it in many places and the reason I want it removed is I believe it's malware/virus.

does anyone have any experience with this particular malware/virus and removing? There is no option to delete this from my laptop that I can see.

Hi Paige_Pars,

It does seem this is Malware you've installed, probably unknowingly. We can help you get that removed.

One option is to use an app called Malwarebytes to remove this:

Malewarebytes

After you've removed what you wanted to remove, you can choose to remove Malwarebytes as well:

Uninstall Malwarebytes for Mac v4
