How do I restore my iCloud backup

I have a new phone and the setup didn’t bring in all my data and apps

Hello El1906,


It sounds like you've set apps to not be included in iCloud Backup.


On your previous device that has the apps and data, take the following steps to allow the apps to be included in iCloud Backup:


1) Tap Settings

2) Tap your name

3) Tap iCloud

4)Tap iCloud Backup

5) Tap your device at the bottom

6) Allow your apps to load and tap Show All Apps


From there, tap the apps that you'd like to include in your iCloud backups. You could then repeat the back up and restore process to your new device, and that should move the apps over as expected:
