Why the Error? This is an issue connecting to Apple's update servers. So, try update using computer. If you cannot use Wi-Fi, then use Ethernet.  Go Here: Update your iPhone Using a Computer - User Tip. On the computer, you would connect it through Ethernet, going directly into your router. If you has issues installing an iOS version or other errors you can do it with iTunes with a windows computer or finder if is MAC this way it’s more better than install the version normal that way solve your issues

Cellular data cannot be used to update the iPhone 11.

Why? The iPhone must be capable of handling 5G....and the iPhone 11 is not. You would need an iPhone 12 or higher to handle 5G.

Update using either Wi-Fi or by connecting the iPhone to a Mac or PC.

Updating an iPhone 12 Pro Max:

On your model, if a manual install didn’t work, you can update using Cellular. Odor a Computer. When it coms to using Cellular, just be certain you have the services to perform this. Without Unlimited Data, you’d probably have to pay a boatload for overusing your services.

My iPhone 11 Pro is stuck in rebooting cycle after iOS 17.0.3 upgrade.

I had to reset the phone using 3rd party software, which restored it ios 16. Everything was fine till ios 17.0.3 upgrade started.

I would expect Apple to do more upgrade testing with different versions of iPhone models and versions.

A company like Apple is supposed to maintain high software quality and extensive testing before releasing.

Hopefully Apple is listening and release software with better testing and quality!

Is the error code from iTunes 4013 or similar 40xx series?

Try some external software which is able to fix the issue- iPhone stuck in restore mode or looping through reboot.

I would expect Apple to fix iTunes and iOS software for better error handling! Quality of software should be maintained by Apple!

The iOS 17.0.3 refuses to download on my iPhone 11. I have tried shutting phone down, cleaning storage up, and uninstalled and re-installed the push to no success… I keep getting an error message. If this is supposed to urge consumers to buy an upgraded phone think again…apple is starting to be a frustrastion when managing devices more and more than it is convenient.

Got the same error for 16.7.1.

there is no option to select prior versions.

Looks like these 2 new releases are not compatible with iPhone 11.

I was able to upgrade iPhone X to 16.7.1, 17 is not available for X.

same as ios17 keep deleting stuff but won’t install

Thats not helpful if u dont own a personal computer…the whole point is to be able to use my phone and not have to rely on additional devices…

That didn’t work for me either on my 11! I did talk to my phone provider & they said their towers are being messed with so maybe that’s apart of the problem too. Even with internet connection it doesn’t let me install, can’t verify the update itself.

Updating an iPhone 12 Pro Max:

If doing so through. computer won’t work, then you can use Cellular, if 5G is available. See my user tips:

• Cellular: Use an iPhone 12 or later, that is using 5G, in order to update over Cellular - User Tip

Because the iPhone X does not have the processing power to run iOS 17.

You would need to have an iPhone XR or XS or a higher model to run iOS 17. More info here:
